SOCIAL SECURITY WINDFALL ELIMINATION LEGISLATION
Please emphasize the importance of this legislation to your members. This legislation has the best opportunity of passing during this session! If it does not pass during this session it will become unlikely to pass.
Perhaps one of the most important pieces of legislation in 25 years needs our attention to get it on the Senate floor before the end of the current session. Next Wednesday, December 11th the National FOP has organized a rally at the Capitol in Washington, DC in support of HR 82. The importance of this legislation to our members is immeasurable which is why we have worked to put together free bus transportation from Western, Central, North Eastern and Eastern, PA to Washington for the rally. Please carefully review the information below and share with your members, encouraging them to attend this rally if they are able. Members or a designated representative of the lodge should call or email the appropriate point of contact person listed below to reserve a seat on the bus AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
